Peningkatan Peran Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah untuk Pencegahan Nomophobia di SMPN 30 Kecamatan Panjang

Penggunaan smartphone yang semakin meluas di kalangan remaja menimbulkan risiko kesehatan mental, salah satunya adalah nomophobia, yaitu kecemasan berlebihan ketika jauh dari ponsel. Kondisi ini dapat berdampak pada kesehatan fisik, psikologis, dan interaksi sosial siswa sehingga diperlukan upaya pencegahan melalui peran sekolah. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa tentang nomophobia melalui penyuluhan di SMPN 30 Kecamatan Panjang. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pre-experimental dengan pendekatan one group pretest post test pada 30 siswa. Evaluasi dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan untuk menilai perubahan pengetahuan terkait definisi, faktor risiko, dampak kesehatan, dan pencegahan nomophobia. Hasil menunjukkan rata-rata nilai pre-test sebesar 82,99% dan meningkat menjadi 84,33% pada post-test, dengan selisih 1,33%. Peningkatan terbesar terdapat pada aspek dampak kesehatan fisik (16,7%) dan cara pencegahan (13,3%). Beberapa aspek seperti faktor risiko dan dampak sosial mengalami penurunan kecil, namun secara keseluruhan penyuluhan mampu mempertahankan serta meningkatkan pemahaman siswa. enyuluhan berperan positif dalam memperluas pengetahuan siswa mengenai nomophobia, terutama pada dampak kesehatan fisik dan pencegahannya. Intervensi ini relevan untuk diintegrasikan dalam program Sekolah Sehat sebagai upaya promotif dan preventif terhadap permasalahan kesehatan mental akibat penggunaan smartphone berlebihan.
