Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas X pada mata pelajaran Pekerjaan Dasar Otomotif. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada rendahnya keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran serta kebutuhan akan model pembelajaran yang mendorong aktivitas berpikir kritis dan eksploratif. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain Pre-Experimental One Group Pre-test–Post-test Design. Subjek penelitian adalah 36 siswa kelas X yang dipilih melalui teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar dalam bentuk pilihan ganda yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test dan paired sample t-test melalui SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara nilai Pre-Test dan Post-Test, dibuktikan dengan nilai Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 dan nilai paired sample t-test sebesar 0.000 < 0.05. Rata-rata nilai siswa meningkat dari 72.35 menjadi 87.65 setelah diterapkannya Discovery Learning. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Discovery Learning terbukti berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa.
