Analisis Literasi Digital Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Persamaan Linear Satu Variabel (PLSV) Berbantuan Simulasi PhET

Perkembangan teknologi digital dalam pendidikan menuntut penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif yang mampu mendukung pemahaman konsep secara bermakna. Simulasi PhET memiliki potensi dalam memfasilitasi pembelajaran Persamaan Linear Satu Variabel melalui representasi visual dan aktivitas eksploratif. Dalam praktiknya, pemanfaatan teknologi tersebut belum sepenuhnya diimbangi dengan kemampuan literasi digital siswa, terutama dalam memahami, menyeleksi, dan menghubungkan informasi dengan konsep matematis. Hal ini menyebabkan pembelajaran cenderung berhenti pada pemahaman visual tanpa diikuti penguasaan konsep secara mendalam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan literasi digital siswa kelas VII dalam pembelajaran Persamaan Linear Satu Variabel berbantuan simulasi PhET. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus tunggal. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas tiga siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 3 Penajam Paser Utara yang dipilih secara purposive. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi digital siswa masih bervariasi. Siswa lebih mudah mengenali indikator visual dibandingkan memahami makna simbolik. Dalam menafsirkan representasi timbangan, siswa cenderung memaknai keseimbangan secara visual dan belum sepenuhnya mengaitkannya dengan konsep aljabar. Selain itu, siswa masih mengalami kesulitan dalam menyeleksi informasi dan mengelola hasil eksplorasi secara sistematis. Meskipun demikian, sebagian siswa mulai mampu menghubungkan representasi visual dengan konsep matematis. Secara umum, simulasi PhET mendukung proses eksplorasi, tetapi pemahaman konseptual masih memerlukan bimbingan. Penelitian selanjutnya disarankan untuk mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran yang membantu siswa mengaitkan hasil eksplorasi dengan konsep matematis secara lebih mandiri.
