Systematic Literature Review: Tren, Tantangan, dan Transformasi Penelitian Kurikulum dalam Pendidikan Matematika Abad ke-21

Penelitian dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya tuntutan integrasi teknologi, pengembangan keterampilan abad ke-21, serta inovasi kurikulum yang adaptif terhadap perubahan global. Kondisi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum perlu terus dikaji agar mampu menjawab kebutuhan pendidikan modern yang menekankan kreativitas, berpikir kritis, kolaborasi, komunikasi, serta literasi digital. Namun, kajian mengenai kurikulum dalam pendidikan abad ke-21 masih tersebar dalam berbagai fokus penelitian, sehingga diperlukan telaah sistematis untuk memperoleh gambaran yang lebih menyeluruh. Oleh karena itu, kajian ini bertujuan guna menganalisis perkembangan penelitian kurikulum dalam pendidikan abad ke-21 melalui pendekatan Systematic Literature Review. Data penelitian diperoleh dari basis data Scopus, ERIC, Google Scholar, dan ScienceDirect dengan rentang publikasi tahun 2020 hingga 2026 menggunakan protokol PRISMA. Proses seleksi menghasilkan 15 artikel yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi yang meliputi artikel jurnal dan prosiding tahun 2020–2026 yang mengkaji kurikulum pendidikan abad ke-21, berbahasa Indonesia atau Inggris, dan terindeks Sinta atau Scopus guna dianalisis secara deskriptif dan tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tren kajian kurikulum abad ke-21 mengalami peningkatan signifikan dengan fokus utama pada integrasi teknologi, penguatan kompetensi guru, serta penerapan kurikulum berbasis proyek dan kompetensi. Pendekatan penelitian yang dominan adalah metode kualitatif. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa implementasi kurikulum masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur, kesiapan guru, dan kesenjangan kualitas pendidikan. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi adanya kesenjangan antara konsep dan praktik, terutama pada aspek implementasi dan evaluasi kurikulum. Dengan demikian, penguatan kompetensi guru, pengembangan model evaluasi yang adaptif, dan dukungan sistem pendidikan yang terintegrasi menjadi faktor penting dalam mendukung keberhasilan implementasi kurikulum abad ke-21. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam memperkaya kajian literatur mengenai tren dan tantangan pengembangan kurikulum pada era pendidikan modern.
