Pengaruh Model Project-Based Learning Berbantuan Media PowerPoint Interaktif terhadap Pemahaman Matematis Relasi dan Fungsi Siswa SMP

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh penerapan model Project-Based Learning berbantuan media PowerPoint Interaktif terhadap pemahaman matematis siswa pada materi relasi dan fungsi. Penelitian menggunakan metode quasi experiment dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Sampel penelitian terdiri atas dua kelas VIII SMPN 1 Monta, yaitu kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol yang masing-masing berjumlah 25 siswa. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes pemahaman matematis, observasi, dokumentasi, dan validasi ahli, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial yang meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, Independent Samples t-Test, perhitungan N-Gain, dan Cohen's d. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan pemahaman matematis siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol. Rata-rata N-Gain kelas eksperimen sebesar 62,66% lebih tinggi daripada kelas kontrol sebesar 41,03%. Hasil Independent Samples t-Test menunjukkan adanya perbedaan yang signifikan antara kedua kelompok setelah perlakuan, dengan nilai effect size yang termasuk kategori sangat besar. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Project-Based Learning berbantuan media PowerPoint Interaktif memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap pemahaman matematis siswa pada materi relasi dan fungsi.
