Implementasi Konseling Kelompok dalam Meminimalisasi Konflik Sosial Antar Siswa di SMP Negeri 4 Palu

Perselisihan antar siswa di sekolah menjadi tantangan dalam lingkungan Pendidikan, karena dapat menghambat terciptanya suasana belajar yang kondusif dan harmonis. Permasalahan konflik sosial antar siswa menjadi tantangan dalam lingkungan pendidikan karena dapat menghambat terciptanya suasana belajar yang kondusif dan harmonis. Konflik seperti perselisihan pertemanan, bullying, dan kesalahpahaman komunikasi masih sering terjadi meskipun layanan bimbingan dan konseling terus dikembangkan. Studi terdahulu cenderung memandang konseling kelompok hanya sebagai teknik intervensi psikologis untuk meningkatkan keterampilan individu, tanpa mengkaji secara mendalam dinamika kelompok sebagai mekanisme sosial pembentukan perilaku adaptif siswa. Selain itu, penelitian sebelumnya belum banyak menempatkan konseling kelompok sebagai ruang interaksi kolektif dalam meminimalisir konflik sosial di sekolah. Untuk mengisi kekurangan tersebut, penelitian ini memfokuskan diri pada implementasi konseling kelompok dalam meminimalisir konflik sosial antar siswa di SMP Negeri 4 Palu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif terhadap guru BK dan siswa peserta konseling kelompok yang dipilih berdasarkan keterlibatan langsung dalam penanganan konflik sosial. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi untuk menggali dinamika konflik sosial, pelaksanaan konseling kelompok, dan peran guru BK dalam proses penyelesaian konflik. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa implementasi konseling kelompok berlangsung secara sistematis melalui tahap persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi yang terintegrasi. Proses diskusi terbuka, umpan balik antaranggota, dan pembelajaran sebaya mampu meningkatkan komunikasi, empati, kontrol emosi, serta kesadaran sosial siswa dalam menyelesaikan konflik secara konstruktif. Dengan demikian, konseling kelompok tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai layanan psikologis, tetapi juga sebagai mekanisme sosial dalam membentuk perilaku adaptif dan memperkuat kohesi sosial siswa di sekolah.
