Pengaruh Interaksi Pendekatan Deep Learning dan Social-Emotional Competence terhadap Pemahaman Konsep Sains Siswa Sekolah Dasar

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh interaksi antara penggunaan pendekatan deep learning dan social-emotional competence (SEC) terhadap pemahaman konsep sains siswa sekolah dasar se-Kecamatan Grogol. Pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimental faktorial 2×2 digunakan untuk menganalisis efek interaksi antara dua faktor tersebut. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas 144 siswa kelas V dari empat sekolah dasar negeri di Kecamatan Grogol yang dipilih melalui teknik cluster random sampling. Faktor A adalah pendekatan pembelajaran (deep learning dan pembelajaran diferensiasi) dan Faktor B adalah tingkat SEC (tinggi dan rendah). Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan tes pemahaman konsep sains berbentuk pilihan ganda beralasan dan kuesioner SEC yang diadaptasi dari kerangka CASEL. Data dianalisis menggunakan Two-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat interaksi yang signifikan antara pendekatan deep learning dan SEC terhadap pemahaman konsep sains (F = 8.73, p < .05). Siswa dengan SEC tinggi memperoleh manfaat yang lebih besar dari pendekatan deep learning dibandingkan siswa dengan SEC rendah. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa efektivitas pendekatan deep learning dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep sains tidak bersifat seragam, melainkan bergantung pada tingkat SEC yang dimiliki siswa.
