Kenali Potensi Diri untuk Pemilihan Studi Lanjut: Evaluasi Bimbingan Klasikal pada Murid

Pemilihan studi lanjut merupakan keputusan perkembangan penting bagi murid SMP karena membutuhkan kemampuan menghubungkan potensi diri dengan alternatif pendidikan dan arah karier. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi perubahan Pemilihan Studi Lanjut setelah murid mengikuti bimbingan klasikal berbasis Kenali Potensi Diri. Penelitian menggunakan desain satu kelompok pre-test–post-test dengan total sampling terhadap 30 murid kelas IX SMP Negeri 1 Tinombo. Peneliti melaksanakan tiga sesi bimbingan klasikal masing-masing 80 menit, mencakup pengenalan minat dan bakat, eksplorasi melalui Holland/RIASEC, serta pengaitan potensi diri dan alternatif pendidikan setelah SMP. Skor diukur menggunakan instrumen 20 item yang dikembangkan peneliti dan dianalisis melalui uji t berpasangan setelah pemeriksaan normalitas skor selisih. Rata-rata skor meningkat dari 52.93 (SD = 6.92) menjadi 55.63 (SD = 5.47), dengan selisih 2.70 poin (95% CI [−0.96, 6.36]). Perbedaan tidak signifikan secara statistik (t(29) = 1.509; p = .142; Cohen’s dz = 0.28); ketiga indikator juga tidak menunjukkan perubahan signifikan. Proporsi kategori Tinggi meningkat dari 60.0% menjadi 80.0%, dengan 10 murid naik kategori, 15 tetap, dan lima turun. Catatan observasi mendokumentasikan partisipasi murid dalam diskusi dan pengerjaan lembar kerja; evaluasi hasil diisi setelah setiap sesi. Penelitian ini memberikan informasi awal mengenai format layanan eksploratif, tetapi penilaian efektivitasnya memerlukan kelompok pembanding dan pengukuran tindak lanjut.
